This chapter explains in a half hour lecture:
The purpose of this course:
- To achieve the objective of writing and using SCRIPT files
- To achieve the modification of menus and toolbars
- To achieve an ability to write AutoLISP routines and use them
- To develop conceptual understaning of the internals AutoCAD
Course Objectives the student shall master this session:
- Identify the purpose of the course
- Agree to the course Standards and requirements
- Be introduced to the software used
- Idenifty AutoCAD system variables
- Use the AutoCAD command SCRIPT
Activities to be completed this session:
- Introduce the course by half hour lecture
- Introduce the myself and meet the students assignment to email bio info
- Have the student email me their goals as they relate to the course objectives
- Pickup the text from the school bookstore
- Use NOTEPAD and VLISP applications by writing a simple function
